Organizers of annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards CharterHouse, have stated publicly in a social media post that they have received over 500 nomination applications with 4 days to end nominations.
The organizers opened nominations for the 2020 edition of the awards on 1st January, 2020 and intends to close on 31st January without extension.
according to the Media Executive of CharterHouse on an online portal, both top notch artist and new ones have filed for nominations.
Ghana Music Awards is one of the oldest music awards event in the country.
Each year, patrons are treated to rounds of exciting performances before winners of the various categories are announced.
The last edition where the award scheme celebrated its 20th anniversary witnessed a sporadic bout of violence between the camps of Dancehall artistes, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
